The Reston Chorale is a mixed-voice, auditioned chorus with a full repertoire that varies in style from classic rock to choral masterworks. We strive to be an inclusive ensemble where all feel welcomed, valued and respected. Under the leadership of Artistic Director David B. Lang, The Reston Chorale was voted “Best Municipal Chorus” by DC-region choral directors in the 2024 Greater Washington D.C. Area Choral Excellence (Ovation) Awards.
Join us for our 59th Season, as we celebrate The Wonder of the Season on Saturday, December 6 with sacred and secular holiday music. We also invite you to join in singing the beautiful Christmas portion of G.F. Handel’s Messiah during our annual singalong in December. The Reston Chorale’s season will continue in the spring with our annual pops and classical concerts. We'll cap the season with A Star-Spangled Salute on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Now in his 16th season as the artistic director for The Reston Chorale, Lang also s erves as director of music at Saint John the Beloved Catholic Church in McLean and as keyboard artist for Washington Hebrew Congregation. In addition, he is a conductor with Encore Creativity for Older Adults.
Michael Langlois has made a multifaceted career collaborating with other musicians. As a choral pianist, he has served Kol Shirah (Reston, VA), Kolot HaLev (Chevy Chase, MD), the Indiana University Singing Hoosiers, and others.
